1. Website access and account responsibility
Use this website for lawful workshop enquiries and the management of your own authorised records. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials private and report access or record errors promptly. Public registration creates a customer account. Administrator access is separately authorised by the site owner; it is not granted through public sign-up.
2. Software ownership and licence
The underlying website software, workflow tools and custom application code are owned by Daryl Shaun Paul. Engineering Exponent is licensed to use the platform for its workshop operations. This website does not transfer software ownership to Engineering Exponent or to visitors. Third-party software, brand marks and sourced material remain subject to their respective owners’ rights. Any separate written licence between the software owner and Engineering Exponent governs their internal commercial arrangement.
3. Appointments and service approval
An appointment request is subject to workshop confirmation. It does not authorise repairs, tuning, procurement or expenditure. Agree on the scope, estimate, timing and job-specific terms with the workshop before work begins. Changes to an approved job require an agreed update to the scope or estimate.
4. Performance figures and vehicle suitability
The performance calculator compares published reference figures; it does not measure your vehicle or guarantee gains. Figures may use different power units or testing methods. Results depend on the exact engine, ECU, transmission, fuel, hardware, condition, calibration and test conditions. A published tune or stage is not a fitment approval or a product offer. Contact the workshop and the relevant tuner to confirm the setup, availability and expected results. Review emissions, road-use, insurance and warranty implications before modifying a vehicle.
5. Invoices, payments and warranties
The agreed quotation or invoice sets the charges for a specific job. A manual receipt in the portal is a workshop record, not a statement that a payment provider has verified the transaction. Service and parts warranties must be confirmed for the particular work and product; these website terms do not create a blanket warranty or remove rights available under applicable consumer law.
6. Acceptable use and availability
Do not attempt to access another customer’s records, interfere with the service, bypass access controls or submit malicious content. Maintenance and technical interruptions may affect availability. Keep copies of important invoices and contact the workshop if the portal is unavailable. These terms do not exclude mandatory legal rights or remedies. Contact Engineering Exponent first about workshop disputes or website concerns.
