1. Who operates this service
Engineering Exponent operates this workshop website and decides how customer information is used for its workshop services. The underlying software and workflow tools are owned by Daryl Shaun Paul and licensed to Engineering Exponent for use. Software ownership does not transfer ownership of customer records or permit their unrelated use.
2. Information we use
We use the account and contact details you provide, vehicle registration and specifications, odometer readings, appointment requests, job cards, service notes and attachments, invoices and payment references. Essential session cookies support sign-in and account security. Technical request information may be processed by hosting services to operate and protect the website. Please share only information relevant to your workshop request.
3. Purpose and access
Information supports appointments, vehicle servicing, progress updates, billing, account protection and the handling of your requests. Customer accounts see records linked to them; authorised workshop staff manage operational records. Access is limited according to the role and task. We do not publish customer job cards as public website content.
4. Service providers and payments
The website uses Vercel for hosting and Supabase for database services. If you choose Google sign-in when available, Google verifies your identity and provides a unique account identifier, verified email address and basic profile name to create or access your workshop account. We do not request access to your Gmail messages or Google Drive. Relevant providers process information needed to run those services. If you choose a hosted payment link, the payment provider handles checkout under its own terms and privacy notice. Do not enter card passwords, PINs or one-time passwords into workshop messages or job cards. Payment references and recorded receipts are used for billing and reconciliation.
5. Retention, security and your requests
Records are retained for workshop operations, resolving disputes and applicable accounting or legal requirements; they are not kept solely because the software is licensed. Contact Engineering Exponent to request access, correction, deletion or help with a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and explain any records that must be retained. No website can promise absolute security; report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
6. Your choices
You can choose what optional details to provide and contact the workshop about communication preferences or withdrawal of consent where applicable. Some information is necessary to provide an account, link a vehicle or process a service request. External sites you choose to open have their own privacy practices. Material changes to this notice will be published here with an updated date.
